Find a Job You Love

A recent article on the Huffington Post website details “5 Questions to Ask Before Making a Career Change.” At Financial Providence Group we routinely receive applicants who are making a career move to the final expense insurance industry. We’re familiar with how daunting a career change can seem, and we wanted to highlight some of the good advice contained in this article.

1. What is it about my current situation that makes me want a different career? If you’re unhappy with your job duties, your boss, your coworkers, etc., commit to making a change. There’s no reason to continue grinding along at a job you hate when you could be using that time to achieve your goals.  Many of our longtime agents were unhappy in their previous careers before coming to Financial Providence Group. You CAN find a job you love.

2. What values, personal traits or lifestyle considerations do I want in my new career? You’ll never feel passionately about a job where you’re not making some sort of impact. At Financial Providence Group, our agents get the satisfaction that comes from knowing the work they do makes a difference in the lives of our clients, and in the lives of their loved ones.

3. What is the education, training or knowledge you need to be a marketable candidate in this career? One of the reasons so many people stay in a career they dislike, is that they feel they don’t have the skills needed to succeed somewhere else. At Financial Providence Group, we professionally train each agent as soon as they join our company. We want you to succeed, and we’re here to make sure you have the tools and training to make that happen.

If you’re unhappy in your current career, don’t waste another day. Financial Providence Group is currently hiring full-time agents who are looking to succeed. If you’re ready to explore other options, we invite you to contact us here, or fill out our agent questionnaire.
